The duo of Zack Brooks and Bobby Bier deliver their newest collaborative single "The Rise" and it's nothing but pure soulful vibes all the way through. With Bobby Bier handling production duties and Zack on the microphone, the duo introduce us to their blend of R&B, Hip-Hop with an alternative twist. "The Rise" is a love lorn track that screams nostalgia, sadness with a summery tinged feel. It's definitely way better in audio form than text so hit the play button. "The Rise" is off the duo's four-track collaborative EP entitled 'Sadboi' and like the name says it depicts both the impressive highs as well as the devastating lows of a long-term relationship’s beginning and end. Through the use of live guitar and bass recording, selective sampling, and introspective lyrical content, Zack and Bobby wish to create an auditory companion to the various stages of love and its grief.
