Such is the case with BLVK JVCK, a production duo whose moniker is new, but consists of two of the most illustrious beatmakers in contemporary music.
Best known as the prolific hip-hop production team The Runners, Andrew "Dru Brett" Harr and Jermaine "Mayne Zayne" Jackson are also the men behind BLVK JVCK. As if producing for Rihanna, Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, John Legend, Ludacris, Lupe Fiasco, Wyclef Jean, T.I., Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Akon, Usher, Fabolous, Future and Fat Joe wasn't enough, they recently decided to focus on dance music and dropped the stunning "Mind Games (feat. Dyo)." Today, they unveil an eclectic remix package for the single, which EARMILK has the distinct pleasure of premiering.
The 4-track bundle features reworks from Nora En Pure, Boehm, Bad One & Valleyz and Solardo. While they are all impressive, Nora's remix is particularly special. There is something so deep and personal about her sound, and when it's blended with Dyo's poignant vocals, magic happens.
