Oliver Tree & Whethan join forces on new single ‘Enemy’

Enigmatic artists Oliver Tree and Whethan unveil their latest single "Enemy," an excellent addition to their growing discography as collaborators. Beginning with stripped-down piano chords supporting Tree's quintessentially strained vocals, "Enemy" develops into a genre-blurring anthem with growling guitar riffs and layered synth patterns.

"Enemy" is the artists' third collaboration, following "All You Ever Talk About" released last January and "When I'm Down" out in 2016. The frequent collaborators explore new sonic landscapes on the recent release, where Tree's full-bodied voice shares center stage with the track's haunting production. Clocking in at just under two minutes, the notably short track packs a punch with its blend of rock and electronic elements.

Premiered on Zane Lowe's Beats1 Radio, "Enemy" brings punk rock into the electronic world and showcases a harmonious mixture of the two artists' styles. Both artists recently played Lollapalooza in Chicago, and Whethan is currently in the midst of his Good Nights tour in North America.
