Producer and DJ Prince Fox has gained a level of notoriety for production and remixes after releasing a solo EP and providing new perspective to songs by artists including 3LAU and Cazzette. Following the success of his song "Just Call" featuring Bella Thorne in June, he returned in August with "Straightjacket" singer Quinn XCII for the dreamy, dark, and driving pop tune "Space". Now, the duo has released a video of them performing a reworked version of the track on a rooftop in LA.
Switching out throbbing synthesizers and layers of sound for an electric guitar and an open canvas of sky, the duo amplify the intensity of the song by stripping it down to its most minimal core. It's a refreshing take on an already refreshing tune- gripping your ears with the simplicity of the guitar melody and holding your eyes open with the serenity of the environment around them.
The "Space" rooftop session is available now. Listen to the original here and watch the live performance here first.
