All day I've been thinking about the future. 13 fresh reworks grace San Holo's remix pack for his heartstring tugging "The Future" ft. James Vincent McMorrow – and I am still not bored (ty, bitbird). One of the clear front runners comes direct from the Parisian underground courtesy of brooding bass bender Fytch. The signature nostalgic San Holo gut punch is replaced with a far more ominous tone, and at once the entire takeaway of the track has changed. Fytch's forward-thinking sound design breathes new life into hidden corners of the track. Suddenly the wistfully melancholic lyrics are more menacing, the rose-hued warmth traded for a shiver up the spine.
