If you don't know us by now, we're always out on the hunt for new and up and coming artists. Atlanta's Pure Colors is the latest gem we've found, a self-described "future funk/glitch hop producer and drummer," whose promise has the potential to go way beyond that. After playing drums for 13 years, he recently taught himself the guitar – specifically the funk guitar – to challenge himself and to learn the real ins and outs of his favorite music.
His latest, "Need Ya' Now," he employed knowledge of both of those instruments himself. Taking a note from his inspirations of Pretty Lights and Flamingosis, he took samples from the old and merged them with the new.
