Nashville-based singer-songwriter KAPTAN creates glossy indie-pop tracks that shimmer like sunlight reflected off of ocean waters. His latest release, "Numbers" is no exception, tapping into his golden-tinged falsetto to overarch through sonic music beds of airy synths and subtle guitar melodies. It's one of his more subdued songs to-date, trading catchy pop melodies for driving melodic sound beds that engulf you in their warm and captivating embrace. His lyrical approach is reflective and poetic, pondering on how things in our past impact our future and how taking a look back through your life you will find "secrets in the numbers." Numbers is out now via South By Sea Music.
