Zeds Dead comes out strong as one of Canada's hottest electronic production duos. They dabble the board with inspiration from dubstep, electro and hip hop influence, marking a respectable expansive creativity in their craft. With the announcement of their Northern Lights LP and tour, the duo had also recently unveiled their massive collaboration with Mad Decent head honcho, Diplo and singer Elliphant. Northern Lights follows up their last album their highly acclaimed Somewhere Else, released in 2014 via Mad Decent. The album contained several high profile collaborations including Big Gigantic, Dirtyphonics, Omar LinX and more. This time around, Zeds Dead does not slow down with exciting features from Weezer's Rivers Cuomo, Jadakiss, Pusha T and more. The duo continue to break all genre boundaries with the inclusion of varying artists to highlight their multifaceted style. This marks Zeds Dead as an innovative class act, willing to twist and bend expectations in the electronic game.
In their latest "Blame", they team up with Mad Decent leading man Diplo, as well as Swedish singer Elliphant. The track takes on a poppier tonality, exhibiting an extremely catchy vibe with Elliphant's enticing vocals. With a bittersweet timbre and solid drum work, the explosive drop envelops the space with it's depth and dub-infused growls. The monstrous tune sets itself apart as a memorable banger to grace the stage of the remaining of the festival season.
Zeds Dead's Northern Lights tour that kicks off in Baltimore on September 29th.
