Dengue Dengue Dengue by brtvofficial

Earlier this month, Ballantine's linked up with iconic live series Boiler Room for a unique experience highlighting Portugal's music scene. Ballantine's Stay True Portugal tookover the country's capital of Lisbon, and brought together Portuguese culture and Boiler Room's key pillar of leading underground musicians performing live broadcasts in locations that only those in the know can find. The full broadcast featured a multitude of artists: Buraka Som Sistema Presents 10 Years of Lisbon, Batida, Dengue Dengue Dengue, DJ Marky, DJ Firmeza b2b DJ Nervoso, and DJ Maboku b2b DJ Lilocox. Their name – a reference to a tropical disease transported by mosquitoes – is a metaphor for the infectiousness of their music, and its lingering.

pe Salmon & Rafael Pereira: two producers, DJs and graphic designers. Their work focuses in exploring native Peruvian rhythms and those from around the world, recreating them in an electronic form, mixing the old with the new to create their own unique sound and visuals. Their musical explorations go staggeringly deep: a wild brew of everything from psychedelic cumbia to deep dub, from salsa to fo
