There's nothing quite like a melding of two alliterative/repetitive group names on a Saturday morning. The foundation of "Chinese High" was built by New York City's Gang Gang Dance (from their Eye Contact LP on 4AD) with renovations by Fade to Mind's tribal garage ravers Nguzunguzu. It's a match that was bound to happen; the avant garde yelps of Gang Gang Dance and their experimental stylings mesh together perfectly with Nguzunguzu, who up the BPM and turn an already tasty treat into something you can't not dance to. This isn't basement rave material; this is a song for rowdy outdoor carousal. You'll feel a little weird and you'll like it.
