Long time producer Morgan Page is somewhat of a veteran in the scene, but still stands strong as a talent to be reckoned with. The 34 year old producer hailing from Vermont is best known for huge progressive house hits, leading him to spotlight of mainstream radio. Just two months ago, Morgan Page remixed "Downhearted" by Danish/Norwegian electronic duo Pegboard Nerds, giving the track a lifted and electrifying makeover. Pegboard Nerds are returning the favour in their latest remix of Morgan Page's "Safe till Tomorrow", which features beautiful vocals from chanteuse Angelika Vee.

The producer duo has had a very active last couple of months with several originals and remixes under their belt released. Their last collaboration "All Alone" with Grabbitz was released off Monstercat and was a bass heavy track meshed with a melodic top line. In their remix of "Safe till Tomorrow" the original goes under a musical metamorphosis, transitioning the sound into a dirty future trap rework. The build up to the drop is impeded by a hollow bass thumps that alternately leads listeners into assumption for a hardcore tempo. What the duo does instead is include subtle bass grunts to the explosive drop, developing a balance between grime and dreaminess within the track. Pegboard Nerds retains the airiness emphasized by Angelika Vee' voice and add their intensified aesthetic to create for a completely different atmosphere in the track. Pegboard Nerds continue on their Nerds by Nature tour throughout North America, buy tickets here and listen to the track below.

an ideal day consists of wandering a korean supermarket for cutely packaged snacks, stumbling upon instagram worthy neon signage, concluded with me drowning in several down blankets & obsessively sifting soundcloud to find a track that suitably fits my mood.
