Following the mantra "Good people, good times", OWSLA and crew deliver yet again, with a diverse selection of artists, some stellar collaborations and fresh sounds on their Worldwide Broadcast Compilation, released last Friday. The compilation is not short of talent, showcasing a whopping 16 brand new tracks, ranging from long time label affiliate Alvin Risk to new names on the scene such as Austin-based WAVEDASH.

Worldwide Broadcast is a mosaic of skilled artists, showing no limitations in genres and exemplifying that cutting edge and rebellious demeanour of the general OWSLA roster. Huge collaborations include the likes of bass heavy Getter and Ghastly in the track "666." With daunting screeching synths and an explosive beat to go along with it, "666" shows no mercy. Other bangers on the compilation include Jungle Terror mogul, Wiwek's "Rebels" featuring Audiobullys. The track takes listeners back to primitive roots with hefty drum patterns and is paired with almost UK grime inspired vocals. Worldwide Broadcast are not all hard-hitting and explosive, the collection also features several bouncy future bass works. Louis the Child released original "From Here", which depicts lo-fi somber indie vocals in conjunction with quirky synths. josh pan and X&G work together in "platinum"; an experimental trap-infused track heavy with attitude. The compilation boasts the tunes of many more upcoming artists including Mija, San Holo, Yellow Claw, MUST DIE!, Bixel Boys, Poupon and plenty more.

If you also tuned into OWSLA's first ever Radio1 show via Apple Music yesterday, Skrillex mentions the compilation is merely a sneak peak into what OWSLA has up its sleeve for the coming year. What is definite, is that with a label constantly overflowing with raw talent, Worldwide Broadcast has something suitable for everyone's particular tastes. Check out the hype below and tune into the new radio show every second Saturday, at 12 pm PST.

an ideal day consists of wandering a korean supermarket for cutely packaged snacks, stumbling upon instagram worthy neon signage, concluded with me drowning in several down blankets & obsessively sifting soundcloud to find a track that suitably fits my mood.
