In typical Dorothy fashion, the group has released their hot new track "Raise Hell" on hip radio station KCRW. The Los Angeles rabble-rousers do not disappoint on this one and "Raise Hell" is just as raucous as their last tracks. Of the band Noisey said, "Kicking ass in ruby slippers, that's what Dorothy does. Straight power and style on all fronts. Think Sleigh Bells birthing a baby with Patti Smith's gritty vocals… to restore your faith in the modern rock scene." And this was months and months ago, so we can only imagine what the blogosphere is buzzing about on this one.
"Gotta raise a little HELL," Dorothy cries out at the beginning of track, which instantly devolves into their usual skull n' crossbones mantra that never fails to make us feel debaucherous. The bluesy guitar and pounding drums with her shit-kicker hard voice just sends chills down our spines. There's no shortage of good news for Dorothy recently, as R&B crooner Miguel chose them to be the only opening act on his #WildHeartTour after seeing their residency at The Satellite in Los Angeles.
