I'm all for new Bearcubs music any day of the week and the praise is very much deserved. Each track he puts out hooks me more and more into his future forward style and blissed out sounds. Whether he's linking up with rising star Tom Misch or releasing soulfully soaked singles like "Paper Walls", the British lad is setting himself up for a much-to-be-buzzed about artist. Today the producer takes on Irish singer/songwriter Gavin James single "For You". Putting his own twist on the original Bearcubs, perfectly highlights the crooners sweet vocals while maintaining his own production identity and giving the pop record more underground appeal. Be sure to give it a listen.
