MTRNICA gets frightening with 'Complex Kingdom' [Premiere]

MTRNICA is a young UK-based producer who's ready to make a splash in 2015, and he's doing so by releasing Complex Kingdom, an EP featuring four stunning tracks that bring forth a sense of organized, electronic chaos. 

He kicks off the EP with "The Grid," ripping a page off of Gesaffelstein's frightening rule book, then pushing through to "New Age," "Robopocalypse," and "Level,"  which sound a bit more like Daft Punk's soundtrack for Tron than they do the Zone co-labelhead, but nonetheless bring forth a brilliant mesh of beautiful sounds to create something utterly dark. I do want to mention here that although I do compare him to famous names, the producer has managed to capture new emotions to established styles, making him entirely of his own accord. 

Overall, the EP creates a feeling of loneliness in a space of futuristic technology. MTRNICA still has a lot of room for growth, but if this EP is any indication, he's not too far off from taking the future of music down a strange and mysterious path.
