GDNA is the pseudonym used by producer, singer, and multi-instrumentalist Yared Yonas, who has been making soul-infused electronic compositions since early 2011. Yared's sound can be best described as a blend of funky, new age bed-room productions that are inspired heavily by the R&B and neo-soul movements of the 90s. Many of these spacey productions contain GDNA's very own vocal contributions, resulting in mixes that are reminiscent of other West Coast soul revivalist like Iman Omari & the Soulection crew.
GDNA's newest single is a cover (& re-edit) of a largely underrated Drake single titled "Club Paradise", that was released back in 2011. While the original had Drake venting about his relationship woes and misrepresentation in the media, GDNA's re-interpretation strips back the instrumental and turns the song into a downtempo work of art through impressive synth work and airy vocals.
