HK Records is the latest sub-label of international house music institution Ministry of Sound. For the imprint's first EP release, they've brought on the UK's rising underground star Billy Kenny, who's teamed up with UK garage-head Aaron Jackson on an EP entitled Lights, with each track featuring the vocals of Amy Lee. Due out on November 10th, it's a three-track experience that journeys through techy garage bass, uplifting chord progressions and Lee's soothing vocals. With the club and singalong friendly vibe of "The Shiver Song" being a personal favorite, each track has its own uniqueness, but with a thread of continuity strewn throughout. In the end, a quality that makes this collaboration look like it's got legs to stand tall in the future.
