Drew Lustman, aka FaltyDL, will release his fourth album, In the Wild, on August 12 via London imprint Ninja Tune. He's already shared two of the album's tracks, the intense, overtly sexual "Do Me" and the more placid "Some Jazz Shit", and yesterday he shared a third track, "Heart & Soul."
It's becoming clear that In the Wild will be wonderfully all-over-the-place and full of surprises. "Heart & Soul" is basically unorthodox jungle, with xylophone, airy synths, and female vocals floating ghost-like over the brisk rhythm. True to the album's name, this one feels "in the wild" indeed.
