Released exclusively on Boysnoize Records yesterday, RYME's debut EP "BAK DEN" is a homage to underground electro that is not to be missed.
A collaboration project by Canadian producer/DJs Rynecologist and Meech, RYME's (pronounced "rim") sound is heavily influenced by Chicago House, Detroit Techno, and Baltimore Club. The duo met eight years ago during the first "official" MSTRKRFT show at famed Toronto venue El Mocambo, and quickly became friends amidst the increasingly popular electronic dance music scene.
Sharing similar tastes in music and movies, Rynecologist and Meech began to collaborate both at parties and in the production studio. Consisting of three new tracks, "Bak Den", "N'Nowww", and "Led Da", the release has an underground, gritty vibe while still remaining danceable.
