Ahead of the latest Moda Black compilation, label-meisters Jaymo & Andy George have given us a little taste of the new release with Ejeca’s “Mellow Sun.” The skating beats and shuffling hi-hats make for a great opening track and peek at the quality house that is soon to follow. Of course the name immediately suggests it, but the synths and laid back vibes of “Mellow Sun” also call for cocktails, heat, and large body of water. I’m ready for the dog days of summer with this one!
This isn’t the first time Ejeca’s shimmering production has appeared on a Moda Black compilation. Past features also include artists like Eats Everything, Danny Daze, Walker & Royce, and Celsius. On the upcoming release, look for tracks from a host of guests including Hot Since 82, Groove Armada, Mia Dora, and Sidney Charles. The mix is available now when you preorder from Moda Black.
