The good folks over at ThisSongIsSick.com had the pleasure of premiering a fantastic new record from Trap producers Pyramid Juke called "Diamonds." The song was recently included in a set from gLAdiator, and it's easy to see why: the music is incredibly infectious. As sirens sound and the bass rattles a voice resembling that of an android or some other humanoid being brings braggadocio to the 31st century. "Diamonds on my neck / Diamonds, diamonds on my neck," it chants continually in a monotone, before growing distorted and choppy, giving way to warped synths, chimes, and what sounds like a singular drop falling into a metallic oil drum. It is simply mesmerizing. This should make a welcome addition to any Trap DJ's Serato. It clicks and clatters with a slow build that leads you subtly into a headbanger. With a record like this, Pyramid Juke is definitely one to watch out for in the coming year.
