Blende is a name that has a certain stamp of quality to it and it is always an exciting time when the London nu disco producer announces new tracks. With the help of Eskimo Recordings he has pieced together a three track EP entitled Paramount which is set for release on the 7th of April and is built up of everything that his existing fans love about his music. The EP starts off with the title track "Paramount" and uses it's positioning as a perfect introduction to the EP, squelchy bass lines and near prodigal chord progression help to keep the track rising and with minimal breaks this is certainly going to be a crowd pleaser. From then on, like some sort of disco Christmas, you are presented with classic sounds reminiscent of the genre such as chunky slap bass and bright choppy guitar hooks in the form of "Sparkle" before being given some down time in the epic finale "Plush". Once again proving he is still on top of his game with his unique and effortless production style.
