After the release of his powerful debut tune "Slow" a couple months ago, Oakland-born Brian Lee White (known as Gasmilk) is back with another soulful serenade that speaks to the loving nature of the human species. Love songs are a dime a dozen in the synth pop world, but "2 of Us" somehow diverges from the rest with its unique song structure and analogue heavy samples. The song fits perfectly in a day at the park with your spring fling, or over a cup of coffee at your local beanery. Even painful heartbreaks can be remedied by "2 of Us" followed by his prior piece, "Modern Heartbreak".
If you like the indie feel of Miami Horror and Capitol Cities, you'll definitely want to check out Gasmilk. We look forward to hearing more from him, and we're not just saying that because we share half a name. Though "2 of Us" isn't up for grabs yet, "Slow" is available free on his Facebook.
