LA based DJ and producer, TOKiMONSTA has done it yet again. If you comb through her Soundcloud, you'll notice that on-point remixes are her thing. From her timeless remixes of Miguel's "Adorn" and Jodeci's "Freek n You" to her own crafted productions on her most recent LP Half Shadows, TOKiMONSTA shows that she's a crazy force to be reckoned with. It's been a little while since we've heard some new magic, so we're pumped to finally hear her rendition of Canadian producer Felix Cartal's original track "New Scene." Although the New Scene Remix EP, which will feature reworks from the likes of Lucky Date, Deorro, Cartal himself and more, is set drop on Dec. 3rd via Dim Mak Records, we've been teased with the release of CRNKN's and TOKiMONSTA's remixes.

TOKiMONSTA takes Cartal's original dance track, slows it down a bit, chills it out, and highlights the addictive elements of the beat. As you're carried through the track from start to finish, you're teased with gentle buildups that still manage to invoke a sort of calm excitement, one of the many crafts TOKiMONSTA has tucked under her sleeves.

Speaking of excitement, we're stoked that TOKiMONSTA kicked off her Europe/AU tour on Nov. 22 in Germany! Check below for tour dates.
