This week the Parisian record label Bromance Records, took a highly anticipated dip across the pond by launching Bromance US in Los Angeles. Fronted by Brodinski and Manu Barron, the expansion onto US territory is just a precursor to the duo's plan to sign emerging artists based in North and South America. The new branch has been launch under a partnership with Skrillex's OWSLA Records and according to Brodinski the LA-based label just felt like extension of their already close-knit Bromance family.
The announcement has been followed by a flurry of Bromance US news, including the label's first release, due out August 20. Listeners received the first taste of Illangelo's concept album History of Man yesterday, with "Crash Landing". Hailing from Toronto, the producer is most notably known for his instrumental efforts as the executive producer of The Weeknd's House of Balloons. Now ready to for his first solo production, Carlo “Illangelo” Montagnese prepares to bring listeners a 10-piece output inspired by John Milton's 17th century poem Paradise Lost.
The label also brought listeners the first Bromance US Beatport Chart, crafted by their only female producer signed to date, Louisahhhh.
