Desert Hearts and Techno Tupac unite on mantra-driven new single "HTL"

Desert Hearts has returned with "HTL," a new single featuring Los Angeles-based artist Techno Tupac, out now via Desert Hearts Records. The track puts the collective's founding mantra front and center, with HTL standing for House, Techno, Love. Fueled by a rolling low-end, hypnotic vocal chants, and sweaty 4AM energy, it turns that ethos into a proper dancefloor weapon.

"HTL" follows their California EP, which marked the founders formally stepping forward under one shared artist name. "We've always felt strongest as a crew," Mikey Lion shared with Billboard. After more than a decade building Desert Hearts as a label, festival, and global community, the unified project channels the energy of a movement that has grown from renegade Mojave Desert gatherings into a worldwide family.

Techno Tupac brings a distinct perspective to the collaboration, blending hip-hop swagger with driving tech-house grooves. The Los Angeles-based DJ, vocalist, and producer has earned support from Green Velvet, Tchami, and Chris Lorenzo, with releases on Dirtybird, South of Saturn, and Space Yacht. Festival appearances at Coachella, Electric Forest, and Lightning in a Bottle have further established his reputation for high-energy, club-tested sets.

Together, the two acts find natural common ground in their shared commitment to dancefloor community and uncompromising underground energy. "HTL" reflects both Desert Hearts' decade-plus of collective identity and Techno Tupac's rapidly ascending presence within the house and tech-house world.

"HTL" is available now via Desert Hearts Records.
