Angèle and Justice ignite the night with “What You Want” [Video]

Belgian pop visionary Angèle steps into a new era with “What You Want,” an electrifying collaboration with French electronic titans Justice. The single is shared alongside a cinematic music video directed by boundary-pushing collective (LA)HORDE, who have collaborated with the likes of Madonna and Christine and the Queens.

With "What You Want", Angèle and Justice create a seductive and thrilling electronic pop musical takeover. Thematically, the single details a confident and flirtatious exchange where Angèle knows her worth and won't settle for less. She sings lyrics in both English and French, “What you want / I’m only / What you want / C’est pour la vie", as she teases with submission before quietly reclaiming power. It's a sexy push and pull, showcasing a flirting and romantic encounter at its best.

Musically, "What You Want" thrills with Justice’s signature industrial synth pressure colliding with Angèle’s ethereal vocals, creating tension that feels both sensual and slightly dangerous. Hypnotic beats, feverish synths and melodies that linger add to the single's allure. Angèle's magnetism is on full display with her vocals drawing the listener in with every note.

The accompanied music video is kinetic and nocturnal. Shot on an iPhone 17 Pro in the backstreets of Marseille, it leans into immediacy: grain, sweat, breath, neon reflections on wet pavement. The camera clings to bodies and faces, following a breathless chase led by dancer Nora Monsecour. The choreography feels urgent, intimate, desire as propulsion. Angèle moves through laundromats and late-night bars with an almost mythic calm, embodying a figure who dismantles taboos simply by existing. There’s something quietly radical in how the video reframes French Touch aesthetics, historically male-dominated, through a female, queer-forward lens.

“What You Want” captures an artist fully aligned with her momentum. Angèle doesn’t sound like she’s experimenting, she sounds certain. Justice doesn't sound nostalgic, they sound sharpened and fresh. Together, they’ve created a dance pop masterpiece, one that feels global, explosive and sensual.
