Sound of Fractures fights against the doomscroll in new release "I Wanna Get Back"

With “I Wanna Get Back”, Sound of Fractures (Jamie Reddington) pushes the boundaries of electronic music production, delivering a track that is both technically inventive and emotionally charged. From the outset, the song captivates with crisp, punchy percussion that drives the pace, layered with shimmering synth textures that float effortlessly above the rhythmic foundation. One of the most exciting new artists in the future garage, UKG and "Emotional garage" scene – this from Sound of Fractures utilises beautiful M1 style piano chords over a two-step beat..

What sets this release apart is its integration of game-inspired sound design. Elements from the track itself- stuttered samples, vocal chops, and melodic fragments- are repurposed as interactive cues within the retro game, creating a seamless fusion of audio and interactivity. The result is a multi-layered soundscape where the music evolves in tandem with the listener’s experience, revealing subtle details with each playthrough.

Never one to cut corners or push the ordinary, Reddington releases this track alongside an immersive game that users can play. The game faces users off against the rise of internet "slop" and misinformation. It's another example from Sound of Fractures of how artists can continue to push the boundaries of music promotion and world building
