Veteran UK hip-hop artist Harry Shotta releases the visuals for his second single "Labour Of Love" as he prepares for his upcoming album. The cinematic track produced by Forest DLG employs Jungle/Grime music elements with off-kilter sound arrangement and sees Harry Shotta reminding us of his devotion to the underground scene. Armed with his commanding vocals and smooth cadence, he proclaims "I was born in music, this is my labour of love/This is my music house where I cut them dubs/deeply in love with the b-line, I'm at one with the Subs.” Also joining him on the track is fellow emcee Scrufizzer who runs through the second verse with a fast-paced flow and vivid lyrics reaffirming his love for the music.
The visuals directed by Honey JD pay homage to the underground in many ways using subtle scenic cutscenes, performance shots, and dark moody lighting to punctuate the grime and raw energy of the underground.
This is the second single taken from Harry Shotta’s upcoming album, ODYSSEY. A long time in the making, it shines a powerful light on Shotta’s multi-faceted adventures in music and the significance that hip-hop influences have played in every chapter of his extraordinary journey through drum‘n’bass, jungle and grime.
