Alexander Oswald Mowbray, commonly known as Lecky, is an artist of Australian and Fijian descent, distinguished for his talents as a rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. Leck's music fuses elements of hip hop and R&B, characterized by a blend of rapping and singing in the choruses. His latest album, Enemies 2 Lovers, is his third studio album released under LeckyENT. The album is a follow up to Lovers 2 Enemies which was released in November 2023 and features the standout track "Idk".

"Idk" delivers a raw and introspective exploration of personal struggle. The lyrics, "But I don’t know what’s next / I’m feelin’ so stressed / I’m tryin’ find my path / but it’s all just a test," bring a sense of unity to listeners, as these themes are pervasive for all. On a backdrop of an infectious rap beat, Lecky's flow gives the song a polished feel, while the authenticity of his message forges a strong connection with the listener. The production, like much of Lecky’s work, is crisp and masterfully engineered. "Idk" shows Lecky's undeniable talent, adding a refreshing layer of vulnerability and truth to a hit track.

Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, Lecky has Fijian ancestry. His upbringing in Melbourne was fraught with difficulties, including his father's imprisonment, which resulted in his placement in a permanent home by the Department of Human Services. Mowbray's musical journey commenced at an early age; he became skilled in various instruments and began to write and record music from an early age. Lecky's musical inspirations include G-Unit, 50 Cent, and Eminem and he independently writes, records, produces, and engineers the majority of his songs. In addition to his solo projects, Lecky is affiliated with the Melbourne-based hip hop collective LeckyENT.
