"Inference and Hearsay" is the first single to be released by producer/DJ K-Rec, Checkmate and legendary Vancouver-based rapper Moka Only. The trio have actively contributed to the Canadian hip-hop scene for decades. However, this is the first time Checkmate and Moka Only have joined forces on a project so this is a milestone for the landscape of Canadian hiphop.
Produced by K-Rec, "Inference and Hearsay" embodies the spirit of classic boom-bap hip-hop with engaging lyricism from rap veterans who bring their A-game to the forefront. Checkmate set things off with his calm and collected flow followed by Moka Only's authoritative vocal tone and then closed it with a playful hook.
