LA rapper Trizz and longtime collaborator producer MIKE SUMMERS return with two new releases; visuals for the previously released "Alpine" and new single "Cream" featuring veteran West Coast rapper Blu.
"Alpine" is the lead single from the duo's upcoming sophomore album and it's a smooth summer banger comprising G Funk elements with an off-kilter future funk vibe with punchy drum grooves. Trizz is in his element and carries the track with raw confidence and charisma. He talks about his growth and the many obstacles he had to overcome to get to this space without missing a beat and still finds time to enjoy the finest things life can offer. The visual is straightforward and follows Trizz around his stomping grounds.
The second track "Cream" is a smooth fusion of East Coast sampling flips, excellent turntablism and a touch of West Coast drum grooves. MIKE SUMMERS shows off and delivers a soul-stirring backdrop for Trizz and Blu to share engaging tales over. Once again, Trizz takes charge and breaks down how he survives the never-ending grind with wit, common sense and raw human resilience. He ends it with a homage to the classic Wu-Tang track of the same name and flips it to fit his narrative. Next is Blu with graphic and intricate lyricism that adds another layer to the West Coast aspirational track. "Cream" is the 3rd single from the duo's upcoming album.
Trizz and MIKE SUMMERS' forthcoming album Cavi En Cursive, is soon to be out and it features names like Brotha Lynch Hung, Kokane, Flee Lord, Blu, T.F and more.
Previous singles from the album includes "Baseline" (feat. T.F).
