LA-based Kowloon is a multi-faceted artist who is also a filmmaker, but it's his love for music that brings him the most joy. He has a love for the warm sounds emanating from retro synth consoles and the crispness of classic drum machines which make up his musical arsenal besides his distinct vocals. His latest release "Coasting," is a summer-tinged synth wave pop cut that stands out with its ethereal aesthetics and Kowloon's airy melodies. Here, he leads us through the city of angels, showing us all the good spots while stopping for a break to enjoy the sun and fresh breeze blowing through the palm trees.
Kowloon's debut Come Over was written, performed, recorded, and mixed in his home studio in the industrial outskirts of the city and set the tone for his future projects that see him blending funk and synth wave with LoFi sensibilities.
