Vocab Slick and DJ True Justice take us on a journey deep into the West Coast in their newest collaboration "No Time To Lose." The motivational tune is bolstered by a smooth guitar-driven soundscape provided by Chef Boyz, and insightful bars from Slick who reminds us of the benefits of making moves and chasing goals with a realistic approach. His lyrics are lined with vivid imagery and witty lines threaded by a laidback hook comprised of slick melodic runs and a touch of turntablism from DJ True Justice.
The accompanying visual captures the duo's adventure during their fall 2023 tour, also named “No Time To Lose,” that took them all over California and up through Oregon and Washington. The visual was directed by Mandela Newman and edited by William Rushton Films, who bring the song to life with a blend of live footage, performance shots, and slick visual effects to amp up the urgency of the message.
