London-based artist, producer & songwriter Ryan Doyle offers dazzling nu-disco reimagining of Nate James’ iconic track “The Message,” balancing swirling pads, glittery production and the energised bouncing rhythms juxtaposed against soulful vocals. With a soaring summery vibe rooted in pulsing beats and lush melodies, the track puts a unique spin on the much-loved original.
Speaking of the track, he says, ”To be involved in this project has been such an honour! I think when trying to put a spin on a record that's been MOBO nominated and had so much success part of the challenge is to do something that's very different from the original, whilst trying to keep it instantly recognisable – I hope I've done that and everyone loves it because I've been so excited to release this one since I made it!”
Having first emerged with his vibrant bedroom remixes that blended dance-pop and house, Doyle’s nostalgic yet refreshing brand of disco musicality has seen quickly rise up the ranks as he sets the stage for his forthcoming sophomore EP and marks a new sonic chapter with this latest offering.
