Night Breeze & Dias Ridge collaborate on a minmal, vocal driven journey via their 'Deep Into The Blue' EP

In an exciting collaboration, producers Night Breeze and Dias Ridge have joined forces to release a captivating two-track EP titled 'Deep Into The Night'. The EP is now available through David Hohme's esteemed record label, Where The Heart Is.

'Deep Into The Night' offers a refreshing take on melodic house, presenting a minimal and vocal-driven journey that sets it apart in the genre. Unlike many melodic and progressive house tracks that fill every space with intricate details, Night Breeze & Dias Ridge opt for a more restrained sonic aesthetic. This approach recalls the early days of the genre, focusing on music that is driving and club-friendly rather than a mix of tracks vying for the top spots on playlists.

The EP's title track, "Deep Into The Blue", is a vocal-centric composition that immediately establishes a lush and propulsive momentum. This momentum is sustained throughout the track by delicate counter melodies and warm percussions. Despite its minimalistic approach, the track is thoughtfully crafted, with little to no distractions as it gradually builds and evolves.

The second track on the EP, "Descent", embraces the syncopated chord pluck sound that was popular during the golden eras of progressive house. In contrast to the Anjunadeep-style favored by many producers, which emphasizes massive arpeggios and club-friendly builds, "Descent" offers a rolling mid-set groove. The track is enhanced with subtle yet impactful details, including intricate delays that subtly dance around the stereo field at select moments, adding depth and texture to the composition.

'Deep Into The Night' EP showcases Night Breeze and Dias Ridge's talent for redefining melodic house with a unique and club-friendly sound. Available now on Where The Heart Is, this EP is a must-listen for fans of innovative and forward-thinking electronic music.

David Hohme's Where The Heart Is imprint takes pride in actively supporting its community of producers. The label has put out a free sample pack of warm, percussive sounds and useful loops available via Magnetic's free-to-use sample library.
