Preston-raised talent dMh shares the first single from upcoming covers album Songs From The North, with “Disorder,” a track originally by Salford's iconic quartet Joy Division. With their celebratory yet reflective take that combines acoustic guitar, synth bass and electronic drums, the track is less full-throttle and more warming.
Speaking of the track, dMh shares, “The track, as with all those on the forthcoming album was a labour of love exercising my muso, arranging and production chops by putting new flesh on the bare bones of a classic song to hopefully give it a worthy, new parallel existence and not creating a Frankensteinian monster or enraging too many puritans in the process.”
With this offering David Morley Hale aka dMH makes a strong return last year's serene and soulful production “After We Are Gone,” perfectly setting the pace for what promises to be a vibrant and intriguing body of work.
