Jaël offers a heartfelt reflection of her life’s journey on 'Midlife'

Swiss indie singer-songwriter Jaël offers a heartfelt reflection of her life’s journey on her third solo album Mildlife, a collection that swirls in turns with contrasting emotions of melancholia and hope, sweetness and hurt.

From the shimmering tale of strong women in challenging situations on “Untouched by grey and rain,” to the vulnerable yet courageous explorations of difficult but empowering themes like sexual assault on psychedelic anthem “Paralyzed,” and motherhood on “Only Human,”  and her rumination of not fitting into society on Swiss-German anthem “litii,” the album brims  with warm sonics and her gentle voices to wrap us up in a fragile yet enriching listening experience.

Jaël’s most comprehensive work to date that captures the important snippets of her life, Midlife is a culmination of an array of musical influences and emotions that have littered her 25-year career, coming together as one expansive and immersive world.
