Rising Brooklyn emcee Radamiz 's new single "The Monk's Ferrari" is an introspectively abstract themed record inspired by the late Spanish poet, and playwright Federico Lorca. Built on Lorca's Duende concept of art being a mystical force, Radamiz takes charge of that idea and presents to us a myriad of thoughts that dwell on the interconnectivity between the physical and metaphysical aspects. Over a moody and somewhat ominous backdrop, he takes us on an epic journey through the dark crevices of his mind with lines like "Was off the edge when no one called, I felt so marginal/ Get your butter ‘fore you get churned out and discarded/ Dismembered, disregarded, disheartened/ Put RATKING and BROCKHAMPTON both on Big Pharma” where he acknowledges his own self-doubt and the growing changes as he ventures towards self-realization.
This is the 1st single from a study on this concept, and it will be followed by performance videos, a 30-minute short and gallery presentation.
