Toronto, Canada-based rapper JRoberts takes fake rappers to the chopping board in his new release titled "Dapper Don". The hard-hitting track produced by prolific producer Imperitiv sounds like a scene from a grindhouse action flick with its ominous pads and dark sound design layered over crunchy drums. JRoberts sounds more than comfortable here as he leads the charge with no mercy for the perpetrators in the game and strikes them repeatedly with jabs like "You claim to push a scale but never had a levelled weight" as he also explores his own Irish roots and how his tough environment made him who he is today.
JRoberts dropped his debut album NORTHSIDE in 2022 and is currently working on his sophomore album in 2023.
