Germany-based multi-talented genre-bending singer-songwriter Violet Greens aims to bridge the gaps between jazz, contemporary pop music and hip hop in her own distinct manner. The first cut "F_in the Rain" is a heartfelt and reflective tune that talks about an individual affected by toxic relationships and how it has affected them over time. The track has a solemn and soulful feel with its warm keys, and smooth bass-laden drum grooves all underpinned by Violet's rich melodic runs and unapologetic and introspective songwriting. She runs through the various actions of this individual who engages in numerous interpersonal relationships in order to feel again but ultimately it just leads to less than desired situations.
