Armed with his distinctly mellow and calculated cadence and smooth flow, Syf gives listeners a vivid and detailed breakdown of how deeper things can get as life progresses. Lines like "So much pressure that you choke, that strain in your brain, no joke/There's no hope, how it feels, in the dark, what they say it reveals" serve as a reminder of how sometimes life can get the best out of us but ultimately the trick is to keep pushing on. On the production tip, Handbook crafts a layered and gloomy backdrop comprised of melancholic strings, ominous pads, and a steady groove that come together seamlessly and form the perfect bedrock for Syf's insightful songwriting.
