After thrilling us with "Voodoo Child", Aotearoa's underground hip-hop stalwart Nauti returns with his new single "Wizard of Oz". The track has a dark and cinematic aesthetic that works perfectly for the rapper's insightful and bravado-laden raps. Armed with his distinct and stylish flow and knack for penning vivid stories, Nauti takes listeners on a ride with his unapologetic demeanour and gives us a glimpse of his rise to the top of the game from his own perspective.

The accompanying visual employs a unique motif-driven storyboard and subtle elements that accentuate his status as an underground hip-hop maverick who is pushing the envelope with each release.

"Wizard of Oz" is taken from Nauti's latest project, Road to a Brick. The 7 track body of work chronicles Nauti's triumphant rise to becoming one of the country's most respected and celebrated independent artists on his own terms. With the entirety of the project's production handled by close collaborator Josh Blair, the project's seven tracks bring the old school, classic boom-bap sound to Tamaki Makaurau, as well as encompassing jazz-infused trap cuts and g-funk, while Nauti's vivid, slick storytelling illustrates his natural ability to turn losses into legacies.
