South London-based artist Rowan Flack concedes to her flaws in her latest single, “Tipsy On The Tongue.” The introspective new track sees Flack expanding her horizons, as she explores a soul/pop soundscape, while still giving a nod to her jazz roots. Melting together these sonic worlds into a captivating blend, Flack hypnotizes listeners with her contemplative lyrics, mellow melodies and soft, buttery vocals.

“Tipsy On The Tongue” shows Flack examining her past relationships, as she tries to identify the elements that led to their downfall. Flack shares, “The music is inspired mainly by relationships. As I have gotten to this stage of my life, I am constantly discovering different flaws and blessings in myself and my personality. I tend to lean towards writing about communication and personal experience. Tipsy On The Tongue focuses on the flaws of my personality during an argument and how two people’s love languages don’t always align.”

With its honest lyrics, “Tipsy On The Tongue” is as relatable as it comes, with Flack singing, “Blame it on my star sign.” “Tipsy On The Tongue” is off of Flack’s upcoming debut EP Forest Fires, due for release this year.
