Somerset-born, London-based artist Harri Pick drops powerful track “Frustrated,” featuring her signature brand of indie-rock brought to life with piercing vocals underscored by intense combination of pounding drums and distorted guitar lines.
A cathartic release with an unapologetic feel, Pick fires back at the media and politicians’ view of this generation with confidence and a tinge of humour. Speaking of the inspiration behind the track, she says, “Over the last few years, my generation has been constantly scrutinised by the media and politicians regarding people like me as 'snowflakes'. I find it quite frustrating when I see this. In the end, though, you have to laugh at the hypocrisy of it all. They will be the first ones to complain about something.”
Emotive and anthemic in equal parts, the track sees Pick tease her forthcoming sophomore EP Dangerous Nostalgiaas she stamps her place in music with a refreshing and larger-than-life artistry.
