RPxSB and Nomadic have teamed up for their highly anticipated collaborative album, Shaggy Carpets. The duo's unique blend of hip-hop, R&B, soul, and electronic influences results in a smooth and captivating sound that is both introspective and emotionally evocative.

The album opens with “Planet X," which sets the tone for the rest of the album with its mellow, funky and atmospheric production.

On the title track “Shaggy Carpets,” their soulful vocals perfectly complement the laid-back beats, creating a dreamy and introspective vibe that continues throughout the album.

Tracks like “Red Eye“ and “Space Dust“ showcase RPxSB's production skills, with their intricate beats and soundscapes creating a sense of otherworldliness and depth. The duo's ability to create intricate and layered tones is a highlight of the album, and each track is a journey through different sonic landscapes that are both captivating and immersive.

The vocals on the release are a standout feature of the album, and their ability to infuse each line with emotional depth and rawness is impressive.

One of the standout tracks on the album is “Space Dust,” which features a haunting nostalgic melody and soaring vocals. The track is a showcase of the duo's ability to create a sense of emotional intimacy and connection with their listeners, with each note and lyric striking a chord.

The album's production is top-notch, with RPxSB's beats and soundscapes creating a dynamic and rich sound. The use of different instruments and sounds throughout the album is impressive, with everything from electronic synths to live instruments being incorporated seamlessly into the mix.

Roddy Picante and Stay-Bizzy are childhood friends who formed a hip-hop based San Francisco grown collective called RPxSB. The collective's foundation was built on blue collar locals, personal relationships, woes of all forms and the surreal, neon lit good times that flow with that. Pretty much everyday life delivered in extraordinary ways.

From hip-hop, to shorts, to comedy sketches, to comics, to clothing, we keep it weird. We're into that kind of stuff. Horror, sci-fi, and comedy is a must. It's a stronghold in all our content, particularly the visuals. The Abduction music video is told in three parts: Chapter 1 is about a music rehearsal that has a mysterious exchange, chapter two is about an assassin, chapter three is just a ride down Mission St. All told out of order on some Tarantino shit. What I'm saying is through our content we've managed to create an entirely separate multiverse where all these creative segments live. Vibeland.

Roddy Picante and Stay-Bizzy, childhood friends hailing from San Francisco, are the brains behind

Hip-hop collective RPxSB. The foundation of this collective is built on personal relationships, blue-collar locals, and the surreal and neon-lit good times that come with everyday life delivered in extraordinary ways. RPxSB is not limited to just hip-hop; their creativity extends to shorts, comedy sketches, comics, and clothing, all of which are imbued with elements of horror, sci-fi, and comedy.

Shaggy Carpets is an impressive and captivating album that showcases the talents of RPxSB and Nomadic. The duo's willingness to experiment and push the boundaries of their music is both admirable and inspiring, and the album's eclectic mix of genres and sounds makes it a unique and refreshing addition to the music scene. The album cements RPxSB and Nomadic's place as two of the most exciting and innovative artists in the music scene today, and it is sure to leave a lasting impact on listeners who are drawn in by the duo's soulful and introspective sound.
