Emerging Brighton-born, London-based vocalist and songwriter Orla Rae grew up surrounded by music courtesy of her parents. Spoon-fed healthy doses of Stevie Wonder, Amy Winehouse and Lauryn Hill and more, Orla got the bug at the young age of 8 when she started singing to everyone who would listen. fast forward to the present time, Orla is slowly building her stats and with her new single "Lucky You Love Me", she brings her distinct R&B/neo soul-infused style to the forefront.

Produced by James Berkeley ( of Yakul fame) "Lucky You Love Me" is brimming with rich and warm soulful piano chords, pulsating basslines and choppy drum grooves that blend perfectly with her unique lilting vocal runs. Orla holds nothing as she runs through the craziness of a one-sided relationship and the lack of reciprocation. She starts off being hopeful but by the end of the song she realizes that things might never change and she musters enough strength to remove herself from the situation entirely. Overall, listeners get to see a relatable progression in Orla's journey from being lost in the moment to the exact moment she realized her true worth.
