Import Export share breaks-driven, emotive single "Blind"

Berlin-based producer duo Import Export showcases their diverse musical influences on their latest track "Blind", which continues their run of vibrant, versatile releases. Members Josi Miller and Stefan Heinrich combine their backgrounds in DJing, live instrumentals, and production to create an otherworldly dance sound. Miller's hauntingly intimate vocals draw the listener in, while Heinrich's maximalist sonics elevate the track from a simple ballad to an expansive, exploratory soundscape.

The track's lyrics, "if the whole world is blind, except for you and me, and we’re the only ones who can see, would you see me?", are delivered with crystal-clear intention and set against mesmeric house beats. The addition of a choir adds to the track's ethereal quality, and the ebb and flow of depth and surface keep the listener engaged throughout.

Import Export's ability to blend disparate genres, such as soft drum&bass and wind instruments, results in a unique sound far away from any genre boundaries. "Blind" is a standout track that showcases the duo's creative boundaries know no limits.
