NYC rock band, Hooray For Earth share their take of electronic duo Autechre's “jatevee C,” led by warped melodies and layers of ethereal, echoing backing vocals. Managing to be soothing and anthemic, the track showcases their atmospheric style.
The cover is accompanied by a reissue of their 2011 LP True Loves, stocked with transportive productions including tracks like "True Loves," "No Love," "Realize It's Not the Sun," as well as previously unreleased number “La Que.”
The band’s new release preceded their Bandcamp livestream performance Live From Death By Audio, a delicate but expansive event described as "Songs, sounds, guitar treachery, loudness, softness…overall good times intended."
Helmed by Noel Heroux, Hooray For Earth which spent much of its time developing their craft in the studio re-emerged after eight years as a support act to Modest Mouse in 2022, before making its own much-awaited return.
