Fly Anakin presents the "Outsidigan's Anthem" for those who put in work

Rising Richmond, VA rapper Fly Anakin shares new single “Outsidigan’s Anthem” which serves as the second cut from his forthcoming EP Skinemaxxx (Side A), out April 5th on Lex Records – the first of a two-part project with producer Foisey. This follows his earlier single "Blicky Bop" and continues Fly Anakin's off-kilter style underpinned by smooth soundscapes. Foisey sure cranks up the retro-aesthetics with a brilliant '80s R&B sample made up of jazzy horns, lush textures and a neck-snapping drum groove to match Fly Anakin's boisterous and flamboyant rap skills. Detailing the meaning of the song, Anakin says the track is "a theme song for outsidigans. The ones that are outside even when they wanna go home. The streets need us. Free Max B.” He crowns the notion with lines like "They love me from coast to coast, still letting me fly coast but it doesn't matter I still go" which shows his dedication to his work regardless of where he is called.
